Hi! all, hope everyone is fine today. I have been meaning to share this interesting language which I learnt in Kuwait years ago and hope it will help anyone out there who is interested in the Kuwaiti Arabic Language like I do. The Kuwaiti Arabic Language is not an easy language to learn but with lots of patience and practice, it is possible to learn and speak it. I want to let you know that I am not a teacher by profession but I can share what I have learnt by myself which is the spoken Arabic language. I can't write the Kuwaiti Arabic language alphabet but I learnt how to speak and write the Arabic words by how they pronounce it. Sounds complicated isn't it. If I was able to learn it, then you can learn it too. Okay, let us start with the Kuwaiti Arabic numbers(1 to 10) and then from 20 to 100.
English Kuwaiti Arabic Numbers
Zero ----------------- Ziffer
Three/3--------------Thalatha 30 - thalateen
Four/4---------------Arba-a 40 - arba'een
Five/5----------------Kamse 50 - kamseen
Six/6-----------------Sitha 60 - sitteen
Seven/7--------------Sab-ah 70 - saba'een
Eight/8--------------Thamania 80 - thamaneen
Nine/9---------------Tis-ah 90 - tisa'een
Ten/10---------------Ashra 100 - miya
I think that with these numbers, it will give you an idea on how they count in the Kuwaiti Arabic language. It is quite fun learning how to count in Arabic but I think it applies to other languages.
More to share next time but this is it for today. Happy blogging everybody. Share your knowledge and learn as well.
Please make any comment you may have at the bottom of the page, thank you.
