Spoken Kuwaiti Arabic Words and Phrases used in a Hospital Setting

Today(el yom), we(ahna) learn some words or phrases that are used in a hospital(mustashfa) place.
You never know, someone you know might go to a Kuwaiti hospital for treatment or just someone go to a hospital and they can't speak English and we might be able to help them by knowing some of the Kuwaiti Arabic language.

Kuwaiti Arabic words in a hospital setting or place with English translations:

Mustashfa (mos/tash/fah) - Hospital

Mareedh (ma/reeth) - Sick

Tabib (Ta/beeb) - Doctor

Marhaba! ana tabeeb/tabib (Mar/Ha/ba a/na ta/beeb) - Hello! I am a doctor.

Shlon agdar asaadik? (She/loon ag/dar a/sa/adik) - How may I help you?

Tabib, ana mareedh (Ta/beeb a/na ma/reeth) - Doctor, I am sick

Maridha (Ma/reed/ha - Nurse

Ehya Maridha (Eh/ya Ma/reed/ha) - She is a nurse

Mareedha (Ma/reed/tha) - Sick(f)

Siha'a (Sih/ha'a) - Health

Dowa (Do/wah) - Medicine/pills

Humma/harara (Hum/ma /ha/ra/rah) - Fever

Zukam (Zoo/kam) - Flu

Sohal(Soo/hal) - Cough

Mo'alim/ta'awar (Mo/a/lim /ta/awar) - Painful

Issa'ab (Is/sa/ab - Ambulance

Jourah/Jarh  (Joo/rah Jar/ah) - Wound

Yesaulo(m) (Yee/sao/lo) -  To cough

Tesaulo (f) (Tee/sao/lo) - To cough

Ya ti sow (m) (Ya/tee/soo) - Sneeze

Sim (Sim) - Poison

Injarah(In/ja/rah) - Injured

Hareg (Har/reg) - Burn

 Mat (Mat) - Dead

Lazgat jirooh (Laz/gat jee/rooh) - Bandage

Feetameenaat (Fee/tah/mee/nat) - Vitamins

Ana ako alam fi ala rasi (A/na a/koo a/lam fi a/la ra/si) - I have pain in my head

Ana andi harara/humma (A/na an/dee ha/ra/rah) - I have fever

Andi alam fi al thahre. (An/dee al/lam fi al thah/reh) - I have pain in my back or I have back pain.

 Andi alam fil othon. (An/dee al/lam fil oh/thon) - I have pain in my ear.

Andi alam fil maidati (An/dee al/lam fil may/da/tee) - I have pain in my stomach.

Ana mareedh, ana lassem ashoof el Tabib. (A/na ma/reth a/na las/sem ashoof el Tabib) -I am sick,

must see the doctor.

Ana lassem ako dowa. (A/na las/sem a/ko do/wah). - I must have medicine.

Dear All, I just want to let you know that the Kuwaitis also use swear words in Kuwait like any other country. It is funny actually because sometimes it is easier to learn the swear words first when you go to a foreign country. I learned all these when I was in Kuwait.
